#CrimeCamNow
On July 14, 2021, Doraville police officers responded to a report about a disruptive drunk customer at a local restaurant, Jimmy’s Tequila and Carnes.

An officer arrived at the scene and found a highly intoxicated woman causing a disturbance outside the restaurant, screaming and yelling. The officer tried to calm her down. She kept expressing her desire to leave, claiming she worked at a hospital and wasn’t bothering anyone inside, just trying to get home.

The officer explained to her that she couldn’t drive while intoxicated and asked her to contact someone to pick her up. She made a call to her sister, but she continued screaming and crying, creating a scene.

Despite multiple warnings to stop yelling, she ignored the officer’s requests. As a result, she was arrested and placed in the backseat of a patrol vehicle.

A jail transportation van arrived shortly, and she was transferred into it. However, while sitting in the van, she spit at the officer and used offensive language. Nevertheless, the officer remained calm and professional throughout the incident.

She was charged with public drunkenness and transported to DeKalb County Jail.
