On March 2, 2022, a Dunwoody police officer responded to a call at an apartment complex in Dunwoody, Georgia. The call was regarding an individual who had torn down a doorbell camera.
Upon arriving at the scene, the officer located the camera and spoke with its owner to gather information and file a report.
Just as the officer was about to leave, she noticed an intoxicated individual wandering through the apartment complex.
The disoriented woman informed the officer that she was trying to locate her residence.
She believed she had lost her identification at a club earlier, only to discover it was safely tucked away in her purse
Her explanations were muddled and incoherent, leaving the officer puzzled.
Adding to the strangeness of the situation, it was revealed that the suspect’s friends had reported her as a missing person.
Given the circumstances, the officer inquired with the owner of the doorbell camera if they wished to press charges, to which they responded affirmatively.
Consequently, the confused woman was arrested for disorderly conduct.
The officer took the initiative to clarify the situation for them, explaining that she was being taken into custody for disorderly conduct.
During the ride to the DeKalb County Jail, the intoxicated individual kept talking about things that didn’t make sense to the officer, despite the officer’s best efforts to stay professional and answer her questions
