Not every citizen knows hands signals , and if she almost ran you over means he can't move that go at her speed , the officer had plenty of time to move out of the way . He is in a bad mood and took it out on her he is trying to be macho man to her.

Another thing I just thought about is that during his rant, he actually provided an excuse for her. She said that she was trying to follow the cars in front of her and he went nuts by exclaiming that there WEREN'T any cars in front of her! But that only strengthened HER argument! If she doesn't have cars in front of her that are stopping…AND she sees cars coming in the opposite direction passing through the intersection…she would be safe to assume that the traffic is flowing in that direction and that she is free to proceed. You combine that with a non-signal from him, what the hell is she supposed to do? And it's not like she was barrelling through. He himself admitted that she was only going about 10MPH.
I know that when I drive through intersections, I am always wondering how close it is til Christmas. That's the first thing on my mind.
I'm a traffic controller he did not have his hand up in a stop position and he never made eye contact with her. Not to mention the fact that he jumped out towards her vehicle. And then displayed out of control emotions. I can understand why she was confused. He also left his post to pursue someone who had already passed him. Placing other drivers at risk In order to berate her. Idiot 😮
She admitted her mistake and apologized profusely while the deranged cop abused her.
