25. Of all the things I have to know about as a corporate controller, ignorance of the law means diddly squat if I break any law or statute regarding accounting practices. I am required to follow a set of laws for financial reporting or I risk legal jeopardy, but the ones we entrust with this level of authority apparently make their own rules and nothing happens to them? Why is this still happening? I get that it’s a very tough job, but they could train people on this content to save taxpayers millions. There is no reason it can’t be fixed systemically. At the very least, realize how you’re getting dragged every day by the public for your dangerous buffoonery and do something about it. It’s the government. They can make our employees change their behavior by broadcasting the message to every department. “This is what is allowed by law. This is how you behave in those situations. This is what will happen to you if you don’t.” If we as citizens have to follow laws and policies, why don’t they?

    I certainly do not back the blue, which tends to make citizens black & blue and has a lot of Goon cops employed.
