Henrik Ibsen wrote a play once about a scientist who discovers that the water supply is contaminated. They responded in the play the same way these officers did: by trying to destroy him in every way possible. ("Enemy of the People," good play, recommend it.)
when somebody says" Courts take these situations on a case-by-case basis" or even mentions "officer safety" the cops will get away with WHATEVER they did. and probably get a parade. and NOT the fun kind, like Gay Pride parades, the ones like they have in North Korea, where the crowd has to hold a salute while the oppressors march by
the fact that the cops are actually laughing about THEIR source of water being possibly poisoned, speaks volumes of the disconnect from the public. He's not even worried about the prospect of dirty water, because that's a "them" problem, and they only solve "Us" problems

This guy is just trying to retaliate because he got fired. He never even mentions what chemical was spilled and it wasn't even a large amount. It's not like some kids will be playing in the middle of the road and get poisoned. The guys channel has no real evidence of anything other than a small accidental spill that was cleaned up. That does look like caustic, it dries white. Caustic and acid are used to adjust ph levels before releasing. Adding before a recorded test is wrong. This is what he likely complained about.
