For the cops and their sympathizers who condone this kind of conduct (especially when it applies to groups they don’t like), my question is how you would feel if a loved one was treated like this? It can happen to anyone, which is why the rule of law matters. It’s like freedom. Either everyone has it or nobody does. Not only is police misconduct unlawful, it defeats the purpose of law enforcement by creating a climate of fear and mistrust. For the few criminals they happen to catch on warrants, dozens of innocent citizens have their rights violated, making them loath the cops. A climate of trust and respect would catch more criminals and make the community safer because it would be a partnership. Misconduct is both evil and counter productive. What kind of sh*t training do these people get to give such unlawful orders? Millions of Americans are watching these, lowering the opinion of cops everywhere. And yet they persist.
