This cop is either a true yellow-belly coward… or he is lying and wants the phone so that the only video of this stop is his bodycam… which, if the stop were to go bad and this cop violates even more rights… the police can control the video, editing out anything that would go against them in a lawsuit. Otherwise, it is scary to think that a man with a loaded gnu on his hip is actually this afraid of the public.

You know you can’t call someone when you’re recording. Also I never have understood how 4 people outside of a car is safer than 4 people sitting inside a car. If I feel threatened I’m going to prefer people sitting in one spot vs outside outside my view.
