I've alays felt that the Philly police department was the most corrupt police department in the USA…
Looks like Mr. Soto has passed in Aug of 2023. Can anyone confirm this? Anyone know cause of death?
If all Soto did was presentv the proper paperwork to invalidate the stop and maintained his right to remain silent afterward that would be one thing. But impersonating a public servant to try and get out of a ticket and his history of doing so was idiotic and morally reprehensible. F period.
He definitely deserves an F for the fake badge and possibly fake tint papers.

That's my husband's home town. In around 1993 their Sheriff was arrested and found guilty of fraud and theft. Probably the most popular Sheriff the county of Marion ever had.

I think if you happen to have an history of impersonating a LEO or other public servant, that you should be subjected to a mental health screening and weekly/monthly counseling. I'm not saying that it suggests a mental disability or incapacity pertaining to intelligence. The guy is very bright. But there's something else there about control or prestige that has misguided his actions.

Please don't let me be the only one that is irritated when people say "I pay my taxes you work for me". By that logic, cops are self employed.
Philadelphia police are the worst.. legit pulled me over, asked me to step out, stromed my car with 3 officers all entering my car at once, searched it and then just left. No body cam, no record, nothing. Like fucking criminals.. except I wouldn’t have pulled over for goons nor got out. Dirty pigs.

This guy is not a good guy, but he was legally right in this stop. Continually impersonating police officers is what put him in jail. Justice for him means him being in jail.
