I do not care how much if a dick you think a person is to be recording in public so long as you understand countless lives have gave it their all to make sure you have the right to record in public. To trample on that right is to SPIT on every grave in Arlington VA! Same goes for cussing in public! This shit needs to stop. We all learned the 1A when we was in middle school civics class and in high school USA history and government classes. Furthermore it is a damn shame that any LEO much less a Chief does not understand that in order to be trespassed from public property a crime must have been committed FIRST! As any judge or LEO would tell you…”ignorance of the law is not an excuse”! That is a two way street and why qualified immunity needs to be stricken down as the president it is. There is a reason i believe a lot if these cases go no where…. They do not want to give SCOTUS the opportunity to revisit rather or not a LEO should KNOW the laws they are enforcing for their line of work. Many many occupations in this country require you to be certified or accredited or have a diploma in certain fields to obtain said job it should be the same for LEOs! Just think about this…. A doctor has to continually train and recertify to maintain their license to practice medicine. Yet a person you has the right to detain arrest and/or physical up to deadly force against a fellow citizen does not even have to know the laws they are enforcing and are granted qualified immunity from prosecution when they fyck up! Something is wrong with this picture!
