The initial 911 call came in as a man with a knife ONLY, which was a false call made by an anonymous caller…..the NYPD arrived at the scene, searched him & the immediate area and did not find the alleged weapon…..The man was a non-violent mentally ill person, who was not a danger to himself or others, and the call wasn’t made based on his mental status, but a weapon call ONLY, however, these officers unessesarily cuffed him and walked him 2 blocks in cuffs to Metropolitan Hospital, despite the call having nothing to do with his mental state, but because no weapon was found, these officers decided to give this man a PERP WALK in cuffs unessesarily……Like I said, this man was not a danger to himself or others to justify this treatment.
