  1. Hi, love this video. There is a button to change to cover the screen inside the camera app.
If you're in a selfie camera then there is no button because you are not using the outside camera but if you are in an outside camera there is a button on the top right corner
that you can show on the cover screen.

  2. Didn't understand a few of these gripes. How could they make the selfie cam feature any faster? You HAVE to tap something to let the phone know that you want to take a selfie with the back cameras and not just use the phone opened up. I also don't think the Fold is a fumbler's nightmare at all. The phone is thick and easier to hold than a wide, thin phone and it's $2000!!! I'm constantly aware of my Z Fold's position and how I'm holding it because I know it's a huge investment!!! Your complaint about the camera not continuing to the front screen when you close it is also invalid because there is clearly a feature in the settings (Samsung Labs) that allows you to continue apps to the front, which I just verified with my camera. I think you both should spend more time learning about the phones before trying to educate people on what it can and can't do.

  3. Abandoned my S10+ for the flip 4. Having to flip it open (usually with 2 hands) is absolutely annoying. I love it though. The act of flipping it open makes me think before I start mindlessly staring at it for 20 minutes. Also, I'm in my mid 30's. Trying to decrease my screen time without looking like a dinosaur.

  4. Had my fold 4 for about a month and love it after coming from a note 20 ultra. Actually typing this on my fold lol The larger screen is great for those with less than stellar eye sight. I do agree on the keyboard. Tend to hit the period more often than space bar but like someone else said, first world problems. And after always having a note, using the front screen isn't that great for me. Its much smaller than I'm used to so I tend to keep phone open when I'm at home. Not sure what you're doing to scratch it like you did though. If you're going to pay 1800 for a phone you'd think you'd take a little more care. There are some really nice cases/screen protectors out there.
I dont really notice the crease. Sometimes its noticeable but when you used to watch tv on a 1980's 3" b&w tv w/rabbit ears attached to a radio when you got your first apartment at 18, a crease is nothing LOL Luckily i got 1000$ off when i traded in my note 20 from att so buying it didnt hurt quite as much. I'd recommend.

  5. Literally disagree with every con mentioned in this video for the fold 4. Absolute nonsense 'cons'. I mean what on earth is 'no good way to put the phone down' about? 🤦🏻‍♂️

  6. I opted for the S22 Ultra after my S10 started to lose a lot of battery over time degradation. I will upgrade again in a few years time, and I will 100% be going foldable. Samsung, throw money in your foldable phones, I strongly believe that they'll be the future of phones/tablet

  7. This almost sounds like a apple review yall are reaching with the complaint. Especially the flip most of his complaints are the purpose of the phone. Btw I have the fold 4 and I can't stand the samsung keyboard but it has feature that Gboard doesn't that I use often.

  8. Been using a Z Fold4 for the past couple weeks coming from a Galaxy Note 10+. Am slowly getting used to it but there is still some weirdness and uncertainty that I feel. At times, would still use my older phone when using certain apps. Hesitant to frequently unfold the Fold4 but do understand that it has come somewhat of a long way from the first 2 iterations (except for the crease).

  9. It's nice to have a z fold 4 but when it comes to durability its still the traditional phone will stand the test of time since it does not have any moving parts that will eventually deteriorate thru repeated use. The hard fact is that any moving parts will eventually deteriorate no matter what.

  10. Just use the front camera with the display for a selfie. It works just fine. The flex mode is great once you adjust, particularly for photos and video. The compactness is good, so no more brick phone for me. The more you spend time with the Flip the better the experience. One week is not enough. But I’m not a power user.

  11. Why anyone would pay the extortionate amount of money for either of these phones only to have a crease in the middle of their screen is absolute madness to me. Would you accept a TV with a similar dent running down the middle of the screen or would you take it back? Crazy.

  12. The selfie issue is such a first world problem 😂 "There's a button, but it's too tiny for a $2k phone" lmao 😂 Dunno if you expected it to be bigger for the price or what but it's just a button press. Anyone thinking is SUCH A BIG DRAG really needs to re consider life problems.

  13. I use the Samsung standing case with pen which allows me to place it(fold4) on a table and also use a Bluetooth foldable keyboard for typing.
I liked that I don't have to open my fold 4 for everything and most tasks can be performed with it folded. I unfold only like 10% of the time, but i do have the bigger screen if required.

  14. A beeper lmao 🤣, I was thinking on the Flip 4 to take with me on trail runs or hiking cuz of the size. I think I'll pass on a foldable and stick with my Pixel 5a for that. Great video thanks.

  15. I won a Z Fold 4 and love it.
At 65 yrs old its hard to get use to new technology.
I've found that actually use it a lot more than I thought.
I'm getting use the split keyboard.
Also put a SupCase on it.
Yes its kinda heavy. Still learning about it.
I went from a Pixel 3a to this Fold and still find myself going back to my Pixel occasionally. 😆 My Pixel is the same size of the face on this Z Fold 4, so I'm not disappointed.
    Still learning about it.

  16. if there is an easier way to flip open the flip phone, and it comes without the crease, has a much bigger front screen for selfie, i think it would petty much worth it! hope we can see it on flip 5!

  17. I love my z flip 4. Is it for power users? Not really. As someone who doesn't use his phone for productivity it's great. Simply being able to do a glance at notifications without turning my entire screen on is also great, and it's easy to clear notifications. As far as selfies, why bother using the front or opening the thing for that camera when you can just take a selfie with the back camera while it's closed?

  18. I got a flip 4 for my mom. She came to it from the Iphone 5S so a huge generation gap. Just the folding action alone which resembles a small vanity mirror made her feel extatic. She is loving it.
