  1. I have the S22 Plus the battery sucks…. I've had for about 6 months. I love the phone. But I will say I've kept it in battery safe mode which only charges to 85%… idk maybe I should just fully charge it now?

  2. No phone without SD slot so have to say bye bye to Sammy after my S9+ unless i can find a seriously discounted 20 series (given old battery, soc, gpu, android version, BT, No Wigig(6e), worse screen, and so on). So choices are between Sony, Motorola, Asus and Huawei for the newer SoCs

  3. I'm definitely getting the ultra, as an Apple Pencil user switching to Android, I want to be able to draw on an Android device as well as watching videos on that huge screen, seems great

  4. Upgrading my old galaxy S8 today (don't judge lol), and I think I'm going with the S22+ — here's why:
The only reasons to go with the Ultra are the marginally larger displaysize (only 0.2" bigger than 22+), the marginally better battery life (5000mAh), and a stylus pen I'll definitely lose lol. Also I'm over the rounded edges. For $1200, no thanks.
The 22 and the 22+ are virtually the same (only 0.5" height diff, same width), except for screen size AND the 22+ has 45w charging over the 25w in the standard 22. All else being equal, the faster charging and a slightly larger battery to me breaks the tie between the two smaller models (4500mAh vs. 3700mAh). Now, I just have to find one in stock!!!

  5. while gaming on the s22, it gets quite hot, and it sometimes make me nervous. i could be the metal backplate. but it do get hot quite quickly….

  6. Got the Samsung s8 active now. Never had a case or screen protector and its held up so well over the years…my favorite smart phone. Screen still didnt cracked but i recently cracked the rear camera. At&t just told me I can still get $800 credit. I spend most of my time outside for work and noticed over the last year or so it's hard to see my screen in bright light now….pretty sure I got my moneys worth considering how many times its fallen off my bicycle lol! One of my bikes even fell on top of it and only left a scratch on the screen. Looks like the s22 ultra is gonna be my pick mainly for the outdoor use. Mind as well put my 800 credit to use and get the ultra over the plus…even though the plus may got better battery life

  7. Coming from the Note 20 Ultra I cannot wait for my S22+ to arrive. Yeah the zoom lenses was cool, but I hated the curved display, I hated the sharp edges and massive 6.9inch screen, and the battery life was a huge disappointment, and I was stuck at 1080p anyway for 120hz. It seems like this phone solves just about every issue I've had!

  8. Is there any chance that next year phone will be anything more than the 200mp camera?… and the usual claimed 10-20% better bla blaa. Maybe under screen camera. Al though I never trust any first time tech version. Because if thats the case so no point for me to wait one more year and just get S22+. (I have S8)

  9. Anybody here on Mint Mobile with one of these? Visual voicemail was broken in the stock dialer and using the Google Phone app on the S21. That was a deal breaker for me, and I'm curious if this problem still exists.

  10. All 3 are way too big. I don't need a 6" screen for smartphone things. I don't want a 6" screen on a device that I need to fit in my pocket & that has a pretty short battery life already. What I do want is a 5" screen that would be more than big enough for everything I'll ever do on a smartphone. If you make it smaller you can comfortably make it slightly thicker to fit a better camera and make the battery life even better. Camera, battery, and form factor are the most important smartphone features. There's no way I'm the only one with this opinion. There is a massive hole in the Android smartphone market for smaller devices.

  11. I've had the note 9 for 3.5 years now. I'm glad to say that it held up well and was worth the 1500 cad.

2000 cad for the 22 ultra stings but if it lasts again then I won't be disappointed

  12. Have S9+ first year I want to buy in a long while. Still think I will wait till next year though, no SD-card is not great. Not that you need it, but I think you should expect it for the premium price.

  13. i got the regular s22 with 256 gb of storage, i dont really like big phone so thats why i choose the regular s22. batery is not an issue for me cause i have a powerbank with me all the time.

  14. Which one should we buy???? None of them, because Samsung and other companies make fun of people and people are taken for fools. Ok we are not stupid we understand that these phones are very good very nice looking but they are not computers, they are not a laptop, every year you are increasing the prices they are almost cost the same as a very powerful laptop. This is just a phone nothing more. My 4 year Honor 8 phone can do the same thing as your idiotic 1500 $ phone. In real life, people use on daily basis only 10 or a maximum of 12 apps and this app works very fast very beautifully on a cheaper pho e too.
    1. Instagram
    2. Facebook
    3. WhatsApp or any similar app
    4. Gmail
    5. Google or Apple map
    6. Google drive or similar app
    7. Browser
    8. Music apps like Spotify
    9. Calendar
    10. Some kind of " to-do list " app
    11. Weather app
    12. Youtube

  15. Attention Android Authority
Russian made Escobar Malware Injections are taking over Samsung Phones, Cracking Google 2fa codes, screenshotting your phone screen in the background, and ruining phone audio quality while recording you.

    PLEASE FIX

  16. S22 or S22+ because of its front design, which has a symmetrical bezel around the display, just like the iPhone… Going with the Ultra is purely just for the S Pen, as the front design is exactly like the Note20 Ultra and the Note10 series before it i.e. it has a slight chin below the display…

  17. I've had the S22 Plus for a week now. I had the Note 9. The battery was getting hot after only 20 minutes of Zoom as well as a luttle bit today. Should I hurry and exchange it for the Uktra??
