  1. I know Samsung s10 is probably 3 years old, but I just got a previously owned, unlocked one from Amazon. Wanted to ask if this has the notification lights (blinking light at the camera for emails, texts and missed calls). I can not seem to be able to find that anywhere on the setting. Also, I am not able to set notification sounds for emails, texts etc as I did with the older Samsung that I had. Please help

  2. I just bought 2 days ago my first mobile phone in my long life. It is the Samsung S10 and got it cheap and in perfect condition for $320 Canadian and I am ending my Bell landline in 2 days after a whole lifetime of Bell landlines. I just got tempered glass protector and a Otterbox case for the S10. I also got unlimited calling in Canada and also unlimited data with 20 GB of it high speed for the phone for only $66 monthly with no contract. That is a great price considering many high end mobile phones range from $1,000 to $2,600, which is outrageous amount of money for a phone. I am also a photographer and only rarely have my Sony Full Framer mirrorless camera with me and now the Samsung S10 with it's excellent camera will be with me always, which is very handy to have for a photographer.

  3. If not for the S21 better cameras and camera processing, I would stick with the S10. Typing on a 512gb S10 right now and man oh man, this thing has everything! Cameras aren't even bad by any mean. This is THE budget phone to get in 2021.

  4. I had the S10 and switch to my current às10+ and it's a heaven made match, besides the SD slot and the earphone plug the camera has this variable aperture technology that got shelved afterwards as well as the heart+SpO2 scanner that had the same destiny.

I think I'd be holding to it for a long time although I'm considering the Note10+ as well.

  5. The S10 Family was literally Samsung's 10th Anniversary S Series smartphone iteration, so in addition to marketing them that way, Samsung put quite a bit more development and engineering attention into them than many of the other year models… In fact, they are the only line of pre 2020 Samsung smartphones originally running Android 9 (Pie) that are going to get the full Android 12/ One UI 4.0 upgrade either in the Fall of 2021, or the first portion of 2022… I recently got an S10e from my carrier as a replacement for a much used, serious screen burn-in Galaxy S7 Standard, and within a half hour of starting the new one up, recieved the download for both Android 11 and One UI 3.1! I love how the phone functions, and hope to still have it as my daily driver for the next two or three years!

  6. I bought a S10 today, 22nd of May 2021, for only €228 including 2 years warranty. I had a S9 before so the upgrade is significant. Processor up from 316.000 to 415.000 Antutu, memory up from 4GB to 8GB, storage up from 64GB to 128GB, screen up from 5.8 to 6.1 inches, ppi down from 568 to 551, dual SIM, cameras up from 12mpx/8mpx to 12+13+16/10mpx, plus Android OS 10, 11 and 12, S9 only OS 9 and 10. 3.5 mm jack. Pretty good upgrade for the money I say.

  7. I got an S10 5G second hand for £500 in October 2019 and I still love it, the cameras, the speed, the screen, the size and did I say cameras? I just wish it had expandable storage and dual sim like the other models and the it would be almost perfect apart from the curved screen.

  8. currently have a s9 plus with a messed up display and a messed up battery. Should i upgrade to S10 they cost around 300$ on used market or is the s20 worth the 200$ extra? Is the s10 worth and will it last me atleast 2 more years?

  9. Just bought a S10+ second hand at $400….perfectly reasonable price on facebook marketplace, at least in my area, and it is mint. I haven't had it for a week yet, but of course it blows away my Motorola G5+ that I got second hand 3 years ago.

  10. S10 truly the last of it's kind. Back when samsung was actually competitive against apple and winning, I remeber being very excited upgrading from a s9 to a s10, after that the line ups have been nothing but disappointing. I'm going to have to jump ship from samsung cause I am no longer a fan of the direction they are heading and it hurts to see a comany you saw standing up to apple's tactics and mocking them to then joining them. Sadly the majority will always buy and complain about key features, chargers, headphone jacks being taken away not knowing they are the problem by doing so they are endorsing their actions but whatever,$1000 back then would give you alot more usefulness, now you drop $1200 for less features and more gimmicks.

  11. I just recently upgraded to an S20 FE 5G and though I love it, I wish I bought an S10+ instead. The design of the S10 lineup is perhaps my favorite of all time in the Galaxy series.
