  1. Oneplus without Carl Pei is just another Chinese phone clone from the poor design durability and messy slow software update. I am glad Carl didn't stop what he is capable of,and I'm looking forward to "nothing" phone .

  2. He'll do exactly the same again. Launch phones at a loss to gain a market share, then drastically increase prices when complaining that it's no longer sustainable. They won't be "flagship killers" (stupid terminology) the market is very different from when OnePlus launched. They'll be buggy, you'll wait longer than you should for updates and it'll be just another phone within a few years. Stupid name too. Anyone "excited" about the launch needs to stop buying into marketing BS and hype.

  3. I bought my 1+ 7pro upon release. I loved my many Windows phones, however, I read phone tech daily and chose to buy the 7pro. I'm not a fan of Apple or Sammy. I'm watching this closely as I'll need a new phone this year. I have high hopes this will be a good choice as I'm not interested in any other phones at this time. I have no problem with Oxygen OS and feel like this will be my best option.

  4. This reminds me of the Essential PH One that came out a few year back from Andy Reuben. It didn't do well and disappeared quickly. Will this be a similR experience? Andy Reuben was one of the originators of Andriod who he thought he could fly solo. Carl Pei sounds similar.

  5. Always and for any electronic components dont go for a first product.. It will be the companies beta product to know about the feedback, better to wait for the second product which will resolve the negatives from the complaints.. The best example is Pixel 6

  6. I hope the phone specs will be like this:

6.5 inch full hd 120hz flat screen
    dual speakers
    Snapdragon 8 gen 1+
    45w charging
Triple camera (main + ultrawide + zoom)
    single selfie camera
    Price: 699 euro
