  1. Excellent work Laura. Apparently in the last 2 days LAPD sent out notices that people who "self identify" as press would be allowed the same access as "credentialed press" at the DTLA protests. Did you hear anything about that ?

  2. You’ve only scratched the surface regarding the way LAPD handles Officer Involved Shootings. If there is the slightest possibility that an unwarranted shooting can be justified, they’ll do it. Doesn’t matter if it violates policy (shooting into or at moving vehicles is a violation of Dept policy. Handcuffing victims of crime is also a violation of Dept policy). They intentionally won’t let you know this because it would not be in the officer’s interest.

LAPD officers shot and killed a man a month ago inside a gas station on Figueroa near Imperial I know the people that work for the gas station according from what they saw on the security cameras recordings the two cops never gave the guy a chance to surrender he was holding a gun and that would be their justification to kill him

  14. Thanks for the video and info. I didn’t even know of any of these killings. Just goes to show you never know when we are standing in front of a killer cop. There are thousands of them out there in la county alone. And you just met one of them. Scary shit. These murders should be prosecuted. Especially Daniel Ramirez $ Arturo Urrutia who murdered my son Eric Rivera.

  31. You gotta start suing these cops for making illegal "lawful orders". Suing the individual departments for intentional violation of your constitutional rights. I know you can't do it yourself, but an organization like the ACLU or SPLC should be able to rip Tod's life to shreds.
